Working with DLED is a true collaboration. Lead Visionary, Don Lauren, literally dreams up designs that she then executes using her clients’ ideas as a blueprint. Her goal is to help her clients embrace the notion that design is more than having a pretty house or beautiful event. It’s a reflection of their heart, soul, and energy. She believes that being in a space designed with heart & soul brings joy to all who enter.

DETAILS ARE IN MY DNA.
A natural caregiver, I developed my creative streak from my mother, Donna Marie. At times, it was a struggle to grow up with a single mother responsible for three children. Even when basic necessities were scarce, my mother always made sure the family home was beautiful and creative. Growing up, I watched my mother, a talented painter & mixed media artist, use different household items and her imagination, to transform a bare wall, for example, into a masterpiece.
Because our home was innovatively-designed, we had frequent guests and gatherings. My mother and I would plan out every event with delightful detail. Seeing how our home decor and gatherings would bring joy to our guests, sparked a love for planning and celebrations in me.

A few years ago, when I decided to start my own business, it was a no-brainer to combine my love of event planning and design into one dynamic agency.
I have had the distinct pleasure of planning social and corporate events to the enjoyment of hundreds of guests. It is my goal to grow DLED into a well-sought after creative events agency in Baltimore and beyond.
